I'm a native Californian, transplanted in Texas in 1999. I've lived all over the metroplex, and currently liveeast of Dallas out in the sticks between Rockwall and Greenville. However, I don't ever seem to stay in one place too long, so that may change at any time.
Wejust moved we moved 2 years ago, and are still in the boonies, north of Ft Worth.
I am a Vet Tech in a small animal, multi-doctor animal clinic and I love it. I also work part-time at an emergency vet hospital.
I have 2 wonderful daughters, Katie who is 22 and Heather who is 21. I am proud of them both for turning into fine young adults!!
I have 7 dogs - Zoe, Rollo, Rebel, Roxie, Moses, Hoody and Sadie, 7 cats - Tigger, WC (white cat,) BK (black kitty,) Chloe, Casper and Whiskers. Currently, I am also hand raising a newborn kitten that was dumped on the clinics doorstep. His name is Hobo and he's now, about 4 months old. I was over-ruled recently, and he is staying permanently, he makes cat 7.
I also have a wonderful boyfriend that allows me to be a crazy dog AND cat lady, because he knows it makes me happy.
I used to spend my spare time rescuing and transporting dogs and cats to safety. It's one of the hardest and most rewarding things I have done. I have little time for this at the moment, however I do plan on getting involved in it again soon.
And, I think I used the word *I* way entirely too many times writing this!!!!
